THe artist
My passion for telling the story of action-packed dyas through images sparked during a volunteer photography role at a summer camp in high school.
Weddings quickly intrigued me, and seven years later, I’m endlessly grateful that I trusted my gut and dove in headfirst. I see my work as an extension of how I experience the world — chaotic and calm, colorful and emotional, timeless yet fleeting. I love sharing the unique ways I find beauty in unsuspecting moments. Some of my favorite photographs are historical ones: images that offer a glimpse into everyday life, showing how people once lived, loved, and moved through the world.
If I weren’t a wedding photographer, I’d be shooting sports. To me, weddings feel a lot like an average sports game — fast and slow, emotional, and only predictable if you dedicate yourself to every inch of the moment. I draw a lot of inspiration from legendary sports photographers like Neil Leifer and the way they freeze peak emotion in motion.
As an artist, photography is my output. My input is all the sights, sounds, emotions, textures, views, shadows, and layers of the world.
I blend my love for documenting the world with my eye for action-packed moments, to craft a gallery that feels personal, intentional, and touched by an artist’s hand. To my core — and in every part of my life — I believe in the power of photography.
